The following are the most common error messages displayed to the user:
Your card was declined.
The user should try another card.
Your card's security code is incorrect.
The security code entered was not correct and should be fixed.
An error occurred while processing your card. Try again in a little bit.
There was a problem with the credit card processor. This is usually temporary.
We were not able to process your credit card due to a problem with your web browser. You can try a modern browser or pay by check.
The user's web browser is too old or has an offending extension or plugin preventing secure transmission of the credit card to our servers. They should try a modern browser or pay by check (if available).
Since each fund requires a separate payment, we need to charge your card more than once. Sometimes one charge goes through but the next one doesn't. We successfully charged 2 payments before your card was declined. Please enter another card to charge the remaining funds.
If you have multiple funds, we may need to make multiple charges to the same card. Sometimes, one charge will go through and the others won't. When this happens, the user should enter a new card, or pay the remaining fees by check.
